Goolwa is located on the Murray River at Lake Alexandrina, where the river empties into the Southern Ocean. It is 80 km. south-east of Adelaide.

WARBIRDS The CJ6A is one of the most exciting Warbirds flying today. The CJ6A is the Chinese version of the Russian Yak 18 A and is a true Warbird. Yak 18 aircraft have been flown by the Airforce of Russia, Korea, and China and are still in production in China today as the CJ6A. The aircraft are used as a primary aerobatic and instrument trainer in China. In addition to it's use as a trainer, a limited number of Chinese aircraft were used as ground attack aircraft in various military conflicts.
