Gliding Activities

Paragliding is the latest development in sport aviation with all the thrill and exhilaration of hang gliding in a back-pack sized aircraft. Launchable anywhere, from lofty mountain summits to small coastal sand-dunes. Extremely portable and easy to learn, with enough excitement to take your breath away. Climb in thermals as high as 10,000ft or ride the gentle coastal sea breeze.
Tandem Hang gliding a hang glider has a rigid frame maintaining the shape of the wing, with the pilot usually flying in a prone position. The Paraglider canopy shape is maintained only by air pressure and the pilot is suspended in a sitting or supine position. Hang gliders fly at much faster speeds than a Paraglider.

Microlight trial instruction an unforgettable experience!
During all flights you will be shown how the glider is controlled, and will then be given the opportunity to control the glider under instruction. At the highest point of your flight, (either 3000 or 6000 feet), the engine will be switched off for a silent glide back to the airstrip. At this point you will experience what un-powered flight feels like…this is the closest you get to flying like an eagle.

Have you ever dreamed of flying, soaring the ridges and thermals just as the eagles do? Why not try powered gliders?
