This is the only Ultralight Flight. Training Facility in N W Tasmania. 2 NM West of SMITHTON Situated on the beautiful N W Coast of Tasmania, flying over some of the most productive Rural and Agricultural land in Tasmania, with plenty of out-landing areas available, plus the added bonus of truly picturesque views of the Bass Strait Islands and lovely beaches and inlets.

Quamby Plains is only 20 minutes from Launceston. The airfield is on private property - sheep sometimes on the runways. Plenty of out-landing paddocks in the district. No noise sensitive areas, no neighbours, no high voltage cable hazards. Launceston CTR to the east but little other traffic in the training area caravan/cabin park are less than 10 minutes from the airfield.
