Courses - Tandem Introductory Flight
There's no better way to try this sport than to have a tandem flight and experience the Freedom!
Prior to your flight, your instructor will brief you about the sport of paragliding and the equipment. You will then be strapped into your harness. You are securely fastened in front of your instructor in a comfortable seating position. The paraglider is then launched with a few short steps and then... an instant bird's eye view of the world!
You may even have the opportunity to try the controls yourself.

Courses - 1 Day Student Introductory Course
This one-day course is a great introduction to the sport of paragliding and to see if it’s the sport for you. The course has been designed for students with no prior flying experience, who only have a dream to fly.
 
Code A0033:The Introductory Course begins on Friday night with a 2-hour preparation class. This session deals with basic aspects of the sport such as aerodynamics and safety. We will also fit your harnesses and watch an instructional video from our federation.
You meet at the training site on the Saturday morning (weather permitting.) The instructor will introduce you to your equipment then perform a demonstration flight Then it's your turn!
You will start off low on our training slope then, as the day progresses so will your launch height. By the end of the day you should have achieved 3 to 5 solo flights of up to 140ft.
All your flights are credited towards your license course if you choose to continue on the very next course available.

Beginner courses are available in Tumut, NSW and Corryong in Victoria.
